Israeli forces assassinate Palestinian in northern West Bank

Ma'an Tulkarem - Early Tuesday morning Israel forces assassinated a leader in the Izzadin Al Qassam Brigades, the armed resistance wing of the Hamas party.

He was 23 year old Thabet Mahmoud Salah Addin.

Ma'an's area correspondent reported that 25 Israeli jeeps surrounded the Addin family home and detonated explosives while he was inside.

Israeli soldiers went in and took his body and then gave it to Palestinian security forces.

An Israeli solder was wounded during the assassination.

Ma'an's reporter added that Israeli forces arrested three members of Hamas, including 24 year old Shithay Hassan Sliman, 24 year old Ahmed Sabariny and 28 year old Amer Shedead, 28 years old.

Israeli forces also arrested eight Palestinians during early morning raids in Nablus, nine from Hebron and one from Ramallah.
