Israeli soldiers injure 2 Palestinians during early morning raid into Jenin

Ma'an Jenin - In Wednesday's early morning hours the Israeli forces invaded Jenin in the northern West Bank during their usual arrest raids that occur nightly throughout the West Bank.

However, when Israeli soldiers began opening fire, members of the armed Palestinian resistance returned fire. The Israeli forces injured two Palestinians, while two from among them were injured as well.

Israeli Radio reported that one of the Israeli solders has average wounds and the other is lightly wounded.

The Israeli source added that an Israeli soldier shot a Palestinian in his leg in Soreif Village near Nablus.

In the early morning of Wednesday the Israeli forces incurred into several districts, including Bethlehem, Hebron and Tulkarem, arresting 12 Palestinians they claim are 'wanted.'
