Ramallah (Ma'an) – The Palestinian Central Elections Commission accused the Palestinian media of being unbalanced during the PLC campaigns in a report published Wednesday.
The Commission contracted a private firm to observe the Palestinian Legislative Council campaign activities of each list. The observations formed the backbone of the report.
The report discussed campaign coverage in local television and radio stations as well as three local newspapers. It accused the media of being biased, citing the fact that only eight of 12 lists received media coverage. It added that only two lists were consistently on the front page of newspapers and received extensive radio and television coverage.
