Israeli soldiers have shot dead two Palestinians and wounded a third in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army said its soldiers had opened fire on several men whom they had allegedly seen laying devices near the border with Israel.
It is not known whether the men were members of a militant group.
The shootings come a day after five Palestinians were killed by Israeli troops in a raid on the Balata refugee camp near the West Bank town of Nablus.
Three of the five were militants of the al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, who shot at Israeli soldiers during a raid.
Two other young men were shot dead on Thursday, including one when soldiers opened fire at group of protesters throwing stones.
The BBC's Matthew Price in Jerusalem says there have been many deaths in narrow lanes of Balata, but this week has been one of the worst for some time.
Hamas, the militant group that won last month's Palestinian election, strongly condemned the Israeli raid on Nablus.
