Israeli forces assassinated two members of Al Aqsa Brigades, the armed resistance wing of Fateh, this morning.
In targeted attacks on homes of the so-called wanted in eastern Nablus City’s Balata Refugee Camp, Israeli forces shelled from the ground and fired missiles from the skies.
As reported by eyewitnesses, Israeli helicopters were circling overhead and fired several missiles into the family home of Nimar Abu Munif.
Within moments 30 large bulldozers and military vehciles, along with two trucks stormed Balata camp from Jerusalem Street and then broke into what remained of his home.
Eyewitnesses said that soldiers had opened fire on the house and sent in trained military dogs before going in themselves.
Two men were alive inside, and Israeli forces killed them both. Twenty-five year old Hani Abdullah Al Hashash and 20 year old Ibrahim Nimr Abu Munif were assassinated between 7:00 and 8:00 am Tuesday morning in the northern West Bank.
Nimar Abu Munif, Ibrahim’s father, said that dogs tore at parts of his son’s body. The rest of the family, including the eldest brother, was away and therefore safe.
Adjacent to the cemetery the inhabitants of Haret Al Jaramenh said that at least three soldiers had been shot by the resistance. Residents there say that before the invasion took on major proportions, “special forces” entered the camp in a car with a Palestinian license plate. They were posing as vegetable merchants and headed toward the Abu Munif home.
In the ground and air attack, Israeli forces killed several cows and sheep. During the ground invasion, Israeli soldiers injured a young person. And later the Al Aqsa Brigades denounced the assassination as a crime and threatened to retaliate.
