Israeli special forces have killed two Palestinian fighters during a clash in the occupied West Bank, witnesses say.
Ibrahim Abu Munis and Hani Hashshash, both 25, were killed after the Israeli troops surrounded a house where they were located in the Balata refugee camp in the city of Nablus.
They were identified as members of al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, an armed wing of the Fatah faction headed by Mahmoud Abbas, the president.
An Israeli military spokeswoman had no immediate comment.
Israel radio described the force raiding Balata, near the city of Nablus, as paramilitary police. Two Israeli policemen were wounded in the clash, the radio said.
