Jerusalem - Ma'an - Head of the prisoner's union, Kadoura Fares has told Ma'an in an exclusive statement that he and Dr Mustafa Al-Barghouthi have convened for an hour with US Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice in the American consulate on Wednesday.
He said that the meeting aimed to provide them with the time needed to portray to Rice a clear image of the situation in Palestine and the dangers in the region. They discussed the unity government as a starting point, and the various obstacles that Abu Mazen [President Abbas] encounters.
