Amana at US Construction Fete "Build a House in the Settlements and Rent it to Settlers"

Amana, a branch of the Gush Emunim Settlement movement is offering America Jews to build in the territories and they will find them the tenants to rent the property. This offer was being made in first construction fete held in the Orthodox Synagogue Bnei Yehsurun, in Teaneck, New Jersey.

According to Amana the American Jews would cover the construction costs of a house with garden at approx 120,000 US$ and would then rent to the property for 250$ a month. Amana would handle the property, charge the rent and ensure its transfer to the property owners.

American Friends of Peace Now called upon American Jews to not be tempted to invest money in the settlements, Debra Delee, president of APN, responded that this idea shows that the settlers have failed to encourage the majority of the Israel people to reside in the Occupied Territories and now they are trying to reach American Jews instead.
