The Israeli military continued its offensive against Palestinian citizens, organizations and property today undeterred by calls for calm and restraint or a ceasefire proposed by the Palestinian leadership. These violations included:
1) Casualties: (3)
- Amal Dawlat (42 years): A woman succumbed to injuries sustained following Israeli shelling to Gaza.
- Raed Ghattas (32 years) and Adnan Sbieta (30 years) were killed as a result to Israeli bombardment of a civilian car in eastern Gaza.
2) Injured: (38)
- 9 citizens, including a child were wounded in Gaza.
- 5 citizens injured during Israeli shelling of a house in Fakhoura area west of Jabalia refugee camp
- 1 citizen at Beit Hanoun crossing
- 1 citizen from Yatta town in Hebron district
- 1 woman in Nablus.
- 3 citizens in Qiffeen town in northern Tulkarem.
- 6 citizens, including a journalist sustained injuries during two civil demonstrations protesting the Apartheid Wall in the villages of Artas and Um Salmona near Bethlehem.
3) Prisoners: (27)
- Among the prisoners were the Tel village council head Omar Shtay in southern Nablus area, 3 mayors in Hebron district, Minister of State (Wasfi Qabaha), Deputy Mayor of Al Bireh, Bidya Mayor, and member of Bidya Council. A citizen was arrested at a military checkpoint in Salfeet, 3 citizens in Artas and Um Salmona, 3 citizens in Hebron and Tafouh, 3 citizens from Qalqilia and the Administrative Director of Ramallah municipality.
4) Incursions and Invasions:
- The Israeli military invaded Qalqilia and stormed 2 cultural centers in Dura and Tafouh in Hebron district where they destroyed and vandalized office property. The Israeli military also stormed Azoun town in eastern Qalqilia and the Qafeen town in northern Tulkarem and stormed the Islamic Trust office in Jenin.
5) Shelling and shooting:
- The Israeli military bombarded places in western Deir Al Balah, Al Mughraqa area in southern Gaza and another near Sheikh Radwan cemetery.
- The Israeli military shelled a civilian car in Shujaeya neighborhood, and fired two shells at observation spots for PM Haneyyieh guards and a money exchange dealer’s office in Gaza city.
- The Israeli military fired a tank shell at a house in Beit Hanoun town and shelled a carpentry workshop in Falluja area, a camp for the Executive Force in Jabalia and a blacksmith’s workshop in southeastern Rafah.
