Al- Mubadara delegation visits Germany
Berlin: A delegation of the Palestinian National Initiative, including Dr. Mustafa Barghouthi and Dr. Mohamed Abboushi was invited to Germany and met with the President of the Social Democratic Party, Sigmar Gabriel and a number of leaders and members of the new Parliament. During the journey, Al-Mubadara delegation also met with former German Foreign Minister, Frank-Walter Steinmeier and other representatives of Foreign Ministry and German cultural institutions, including Friedrich Ebert Foundation.

Focusing on the situation inside the occupied Palestinian territories, Al-Mubadara’s delegation explained the risks of the Israeli policies of settlement expansion and the ongoing blockade imposed on Gaza, emphasizing the alarming ethnic cleansing carried out in Jerusalem.
The delegation also highlighted the importance of rejecting any negotiation without a freeze of settlements activity in the occupied territories, especially in Jerusalem.
