Barghouthi calls to save a mother and her three children trapped in their house by Israeli soldiers in Gaza

Dr. Mustafa Barghouthi MP, Secretary General of the Palestinian National Initiative, called on international organisations and foreign diplomatic services to act immediately to save the life of Mervat AbdelSalam Abu Shbak and her three children, who are now besieged in their house in Ahezbet Abed Rabbo neighbourhood, East of Jabaliya in the Northern Gaza Strip.

Israeli military murders 2 young Palestinians taking part in non-violent demonstrations in the West Bank

Mahmoud Al Masalmah, 14, was shot in the heart Sunday in Beit Awoua village, near Hebron. Muhammad Shreitih, 19, was shot in the head today in Al-Mazra’a Al-Qibliya village, near Ramallah. Dr. Mustafa Barghouthi MP, Secretary General of the Palestinian National Initiative declared: “these two young boys were participating in non-violent demonstrations to protest the Israeli killings in Gaza. And Israeli soldiers killed them! This is murder.”

More Than One in Four Palestinians Killed in Gaza Were Children

The Israeli attack on Gaza launched from Wednesday 27 February to Monday 3 March killed more than 120 Palestinians. Palestinian and international sources confirmed that 31 children had been killed, and are investigating 13 more reported child fatalities. Dr. Barghouthi MP, Secretary General of the Palestinian National Initiative, declared “this horrendous death toll clearly highlights Israel’s contempt for Palestinian lives, even children. These deaths are war crimes.”
