Dr. Mustafa Barghouthi MP met with Austrian Foreign Minister, Dr. Ursula Plassnik, in Ramallah yesterday. The meeting was also attended by other members of the Palestinian National Initiative, including Kamal Hassouneh, Nassif Abu-Shousheh, Bassem Khouri, and Dr. Mohammad Odeh.

Dr. Mustafa Barghouthi MP met with Germany’s Federal Foreign Minister, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, in Jericho yesterday in the first of a series of meetings to be held by the German FM in Palestine and Israel.

Barghouthi: "The issue of the ministries should not be an obstacle to forming the government and then waste all the efforts taken. What we know as mediators is that the difference between the two movements was because of the posts. The other obstacles were because they returned to re-evaluate what was accomplished."
