The European Parliament has postponed the vote on the new EU-Israel agreement.
A step in the right direction, but more actions are needed!
Today, the European Parliament gathered to hold a vote on the implementation of the EU-Israel Association Agreement. Such an agreement would have strongly enhanced the relationship between the EU and Israel, and provided Israel with the status of a quasi-member, despite its daily violation of international law, and aggression towards the Palestinian people. With a small majority, the EU deputies postponed the vote to January.

In the Tel el Hawa neighborhood in the southern part of the city, the electricity went out at 8 a.m. When children came home from school, the lights had still not come back on.
