8 Children, 7 Women, and 16 Members of the Same Family Killed in Dawn Attacks on Homes

Ma'an has learned that Dr Mustapha Barghouthi has met with President Abbas in Ramallah, and discussed with him the latest developments to end the current crisis over government formation. Dr Barghouthi spoke with Khalid Mash'al in Damascus, before heading to the Gaza Strip to meet Prime Minister Haniyeh.

Ramallah, 01-11-06: Dr. Mustafa Barghouthi, member of Palestinian parliament and Palestinian National Initiative head, calls on the international community to take urgent action to end Israeli attacks in the northern Gaza Strip, in which so far 6 Palestinians have been killed and up to 50 injured.

Ramallah: 31-10-06: After a month of shuttle diplomacy between the West Bank, Gaza Strip and Syria mediating between members of the Palestinian presidency and the Palestinian government, Independent Palestine MP, Dr. Mustafa Barghouthi, reported that he had made positive, concrete progress towards seeking the formation of a national unity government.

PLC member, Dr. Mustafa Barghouthi has, on Thursday, met with the head of the Hamas political bureau, Khalid Mash'al, and a Hamas delegation. They discussed the current efforts to compose a unity government aimed at lifting the siege of the Palestinian people.
